In this class you will spend a few hours immersed in the beautiful Noyes Art Gallery. The owner, Julia, is an accomplished artist and will be leading you through some watercolor techniques. You will get a sketchbook and a watercolor palette to take away and during the class you will paint some florals. You won't want to miss this one!
Julia Noyes is influenced by her travels and studies in China, Italy, Russia, Egypt, Scandinavia, France, Ireland, Spain, and Alaska. Her abstract expressionistic stile focusses on energy, color, texture, composition, and various themes that are not always obvious. Noyes encourages the viewer to interpret their own visual experience.
Noyes received a Bachelor's Degree from Wayne State and a Masters from UNK before moving to Lincoln, NE where she now lives and works. She has always loved teaching art workshops at all educational levels and offers classes at the Noyes Art Gallery, which she owns and runs.
