Fiber artist Rhonda McClure has been raising sheep on a small family farm in eastern Nebraska for over three decades. As a child she was sure she was going to be an artist but encouragement and opportunity were in short supply. Then she met a shepherd named Don and everything fell into place. To be involved in every step of the process creates a deep understanding of her chosen raw material, wool. Having raised the sheep, she then processes the fleece to produce wool for dying, spinning, and needle felting.
Class min of 4, max 10.
