CERAMIC WALL HANGING
THURSDAY SESSION TWO

Create the perfect foundation for a ceramic wall hanging! In this beginner-friendly hand-building class, you’ll use slabs of clay to design and create a collection of ceramic shapes that will later be assembled into a beautiful hanging piece for your home.
Choose from circles, arches, organic shapes, or create your own unique design. You’ll personalize each piece with colorful underglazes, experimenting with bold color blocking, patterns, or simple modern designs. During this class, we’ll focus on creating and decorating the ceramic components—the final assembly will take place at home after your pieces have been fired, giving you the flexibility to arrange and string them exactly how you’d like.
No experience is necessary—all tools, clay, and instruction are included. After class, your pieces will be fired and clear glazed. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup at Makit Takit on Sunday afternoon.
