T-pins are used for blocking knit or crocheted items. Blocking helps items open up any lace areas, grow the project into it's full size and to guide the fabric into the shape or form it needs to take. These are made from stainless steel and plated with nickel. They come in their own little case including 50 T-pins. They are Rust resistant and 1.5" in length.
